Speaking of which, the Spidey that I depicted is actually the "TOEI SPIDERMAN" from Japan. It was a live action show in the late 70's. The picture of me in the Spidey suit in my gallery is based on that same suit. I actually made that replica suit based from an original.

Spidey in the Japanese show is a slightly different character. He isn't the Peter Parker that we know but a Motorcylce racer. And he has a flying car that docks into a Giant Flying Shinx which transforms into "Leopardon". The Giant Robot I depicted in the back. Do a google or you tube search for Japanese Spiderman on TOEI Spiderman....

I myself prefer the Steve Ditko/Romita style as opposed to the "DISNEY-fied" Spidey eyes. I think it gives Spidey a more "serious" look. Also, I prefer to add a degree of realism to my work. Especially Spidey. I think it makes it more "believeable".

After getting tired of being chased around by Tony Stark, Peter Parker and family get a one way ticket to Japan where a crazy bug-like person in colorful tights is not only accepted but welcomed, as evidenced by his new friend, The Masked Rider. But now Spidey faces brand new problems, like how to speak japaneese and learn to drive a giant robot...somethings never change

Incredible Picture, and yes Dikto-Spidey was one of the best versions especially the dark blue with red style in the early comics.

The rest is Spiderman's giant robot from the Japanese "Spider-Man" series, "Leopaldon", the flying one is "Skyzel" and the other is "Granzel", his brother unit from"Uchuu Tetsujin Kyodain". Hope that clears things up. XD X3
